There is an old tradition of introducing a new person to a circle of people by a person from this circle. It is as if shadow of valours, merits, credits including shortcomings of the introducing person were put on the new person. It is a mediator. This has deep psycological causes. I shall not go deep into this thickets, but only mark a few patterns of the mediatov.People for some reason more believe in a stranger talking from the TV screen , newspaper column, book than an old friend who is nearby. There are the patterns of the mediators. All the sensations, senses, emotions received by a person throughout his /her life from these mediator - sources were added, sublimized into something, and one of displays of it is a sense of groundless credit to all coming from the mediator.
